Visual Journal: Beijing Layover

On my way back home from a wedding in Singapore, my friend and I had a eight-and-a-half hour layover in Beijing. If you have a layover for less than 72 hours, you might be eligible for a Transit Visa.

It ended up taking us an hour and a half to get the visa, clear customs, and figure out how to pay for the subway system (you need local currency), but we still managed to experience what felt like a lot in a short amount of time.
