Visual Journal: A Day In Joshua Tree

Recently, I was in San Diego for a family member's wedding. Before the trip, my dad asked me if I wanted to take a quick side tour through Palm Springs. To be honest, I wasn't all that interested in seeing Palm Springs, as all I had heard centred around golf and a large retirement community (I'm 25 and don't golf). However, after a quick Google search, I realized Joshua Tree National Park was in the nearby vicinity. I had wanted to check it out ever since seeing it in an Entourage episode back in the day. (Travel inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of sources, haha)

We only got one day in the park, and spent most of it exploring the different areas. Coming from the greens and blues of the Pacific Northwest, it was really cool to see a completely different desert landscape. I wish we'd had more time to explore.
