LESSONS FROM LIMÓN

Brief
Spend a week capturing the natural beauty and cultural richness of Costa Rica’s Limón region to create an inspiring travel video that invites viewers into a lesser-known corner of the country.

On a press trip organized by the Costa Rica Tourism Board, I explored Limón’s rainforests, mountains, and vibrant wildlife while engaging with the local BriBri community, learning to make cocoa, and capturing dawn wildlife scenes. To bring an authentic narrative layer to the visuals, I collaborated with Briona, a travel writer on the trip, who provided a voiceover that conveys the spirit of our experiences. This partnership aimed to blend thoughtful storytelling with immersive cinematography.

The final video invites audiences to explore Limón as a destination for adventure and connection, presenting a side of Costa Rica that celebrates both its natural beauty and cultural heritage.
